Lopetegui admits Hammers will be tough to beat Foxes in ‘Rud’ debut.

Julen Lopetegui admits West Ham United are not in the right place to visit Leicester City for the first game under new manager Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Lopetegui is back in the thick of things after Saturday’s 5-2 defeat at the London Stadium to Arsenal. Having appeared to be improving things earlier in the season with a 2-0 win at Newcastle United UFABET

December’s Premier League fixtures are therefore crucial for Lopetegui’s future. With the Spaniard admitting he faces a tough task ahead of a trip to Leicester City’s King Power Stadium. Which is believed to have special powers as Van Nistelrooy’s first game in charge.

“I think Ruud is a very good manager. He has shown that with the teams. He has worked with and he has experience in the Premier League. We have to be ready because I’m sure the next game will be very difficult and challenging.”

“When you have a new coach, there is a special energy. Which is very important. Leicester also have good players. So we have to show our best version when we go there.” Lopetegui said.

Despite this setback and a limited time to influence his new squad. Lopetegui is bracing for a formidable challenge at the King Power Stadium.
